A large system integrator had won a contract to install the Globus Private Banking System in its branches in Germany and Latin America.

They had little investment banking experience or resources and needed expertise to pull together the design and business requirements of the project.

Project

The project was a $50 million implementation was based in Germany and seven countries in the USA and Latin America. This was the first phase of the project and included the analysis and design phases. We put together an international team of analysts from vendors and the client and used a common language.

Result

All business and technical requirements and processes across the seven countries were documented and included in a detailed implementation plan that also included managing resources in five languages. Different cultural approaches were applied for each country and successful relationships were developed between German, Latin American and US partners. A different cultural approach and work process was required for each country.

The first phase of the project was completed for seven countries on time and on budget.
